*OBSERVATION:  The CMTS (Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show 2009)

Canada's largest forum for domestic and

international manufacturers and distributors to display

 the full range of manufacturing machinery, plan-floor automation

technology and support products

*ADVANTAGE:

The CMTS exhibitors as well as visitors are the customer

base for the local (Canadian) electronics industry

All the equipment displayed throughout the show, uses electronics

at different levels and at this show

we could see and visualize the big players in these industries and propose

the services of our members.

The primary impact was the exhibitors themselves (400+).

Electronics is now everywhere and with these

equipment manufacturers, both exhibitors and visitors in the medium size category,

the prospects for the electronics field is enormous, and the impact by large

China and India corporations is limited by the quantities and R&D involved.

So those field are very important for the electronics industries

attendance at this show is a must the CMTS held every 2 years hope to see you in 2009

The four day show was very well attend with the visitors coming in a steady flow starting:
From Monday, 10h00am to 17.00pm Follow with a welcome cocktail
Thursday, 10h00am to 18.00 pm

Wednesday, 10h00am to 20.00 pm

Thursday, 10h00am to 16.00 pm
 

The quality of visitors varied for the different field of activity   
1) First all the exhibitor with their budget bring all their sale force so we could see exhibitors as a visitors
and even they were not involve with the production and engineering they took brochure for their colleagues
I been mention several time RFM Electro (Tradesshows.com) have a very good attitude with is activity
(No wonder our supply of literature and brochures was depleted at final closing)
2) Naturally the visitor was a mixes of worker for those companies and the user of those equipments:

Maintenance peoples, productions, technicians, engineering, ...
people from all level of those industries.
